Beximco Petroleum appoints Bitopi as creative agency

Beximco Petroleum Limited plans to launch its own brand of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) using technology while Bitopi Leo Burnett has been selected as the creative agency of this new venture, according to a statement released yesterday.

 

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has recently been signed between the two companies. Ajmal Kabir, group director and CEO of Beximco Petroleum Ltd, and Sarah Ali, managing director of Bitopi Leo Burnett, signed on behalf of their respective companies. Bitopi Leo Burnett has been working successfully since 1968 in Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest and largest integrated creative agencies in the country.

Beximco Petroleum, the energy arm of the Bangladeshi conglomerate, has announced plans to launch its own brand of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) The Dhaka-based company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with creative agency Bitopi Leo Burnett to undertake design work and visuals.

Ajmal Kabir, group director and chief executive of Beximco Petroleum and Sarah Ali, managing director of Bitopi Leo Burnett, signed on behalf of their respective companies. Bitopi Leo Burnett has been working successfully since 1968 in Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest and largest integrated creative agencies in the country.

The move follows the news earlier this year in Bangladesh that the Beximco Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the country, had been given approval to set up 500 LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) refuelling stations over the next two years.
